Post-Fat Injection Care Guidelines

To reduce the swelling immediately after the procedure, it is recommended to apply cold compresses to the area and sleep with the head elevated.

The area can be washed and moisturizing creams can be applied 3-4 days after the procedure. Avoid applying excessive heat or steam to the area as it may increase swelling.

Depending on the location of the procedure, the individual can return to their normal life 4-7 days after the procedure without significantly affecting their daily routine. It is advisable to rest for 3-4 days after the procedure due to bruising and swelling. After the swelling subsides, the effects of the fat injection become more visible.
